How Rent A Goat looks & sounds
One friendly goat, a warm Californian palette, and a plain-spoken voice. This page is the reference for keeping it consistent everywhere the brand shows up.
Meet the goat
Our mascot is a cheerful grey cartoon goat with floppy brown ears, curved horns, a red collar, and a gold bell — the face of America’s original goat-grazing company since 2010. He’s friendly and a little fun, never silly, and he’s the single most recognizable piece of the brand.
Use him for: the favicon, the header/footer logo lockup, social-share cards, and playful accents. Keep clear space around him, don’t recolor him, and don’t stretch or add heavy effects.

The mascot as used in the logo lockup
The lockup
Mascot + wordmark, side by side. On dark backgrounds the wordmark reverses to cream; the goat stays full-color.
✅ Do
Keep the goat and wordmark together · give the mark clear space · use on cream, white, or forest backgrounds · scale proportionally.
🚫 Don’t
Recolor or outline the goat · stretch or skew · add drop shadows or gradients · place on busy photos without a panel · rename the wordmark.
Golden State Ecological colors
Drawn from California chaparral and oak woodland — sage greens, warm creams, and sunlit gold, grounded by charcoal ink.
